Keep playing till you get bored or run out of creative ideas using what you already have. But learn from it, get better at planning, get better at implementing those plans. Play the game like the developers intended, have fun, and build some ridiculous cities. Get a feel for it, get used to the mechanics, go insane from the constant background noises at high volume. Personally, I suggest playing the game without mods at first.
