I’m not sure what happened since the most recent update, but I can no longer download music I purchased to my Android device, Galaxy S21 Plus. Here is what some of the complainants have to say. Some say they tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing app data and cache, and even logging out and in again but nothing seems to work. It is a really serious issue since the bug is making Amazon Music useless for many. Others say they cannot download their purchased songs at all. But now Amazon Music subscribers are reporting ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) that they cannot find the music file even if they have downloaded the song. That being said, the app allows users to download their favorite music tracks and listen offline. In January 2020, the service had more than 55 million users worldwide. Amazon Music is one of the few services that offer lossless music.
It also happens to be the first music store to sell music without DRM.
